I've also heard amazing stories of college mamas who have the baby on Friday and are back on the court Monday. I teach an online composition class and one of my students told her story in several essays in class.<BR/><BR/>She was a star basketball for a Div I college and got pregnant. Her coach, among others, encouraged her to terminate. She chose to keep her baby and was kicked off the team. Perhaps this is commonplace in woman's athletics. She was not bitter and is now getting her degree online so she is quite motivated but that just struck me as unfair and not very "woman friendly." <BR/><BR/>Beth BrandAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
